Default Configure my Nokia for Email

Hi all

Im having a right nightmare trying to set up my Nokia E71 ( with orange ). Ive managed to down load my email from demon ( my email provider) but cant seem to reply / or send any.

Ive looked at demon's webpage, entered post.demon.co.uk / 025 but no good. Then I read you need to use your phone providers smpt server, smpt.orange.net, and that never worked.

anyone here who knows how to do this ?

Hope you get it sorted soon mate. I gave up trying with the last one I used, was all too much for my tiny little brain.
Are there no guides on the Nokia forums?

Cool, sorted it. Amazing, as when ever I have a problem, I write a thread here, then 10 mins later I sort it.

Cheers anyway.

Incoming - use your email provides server details :-

Oncoming :- email address / id / passwd / pop3.demon.co.uk / no ssl / default port
Outgoing :- outgoing email / id / passwd / smpt.orange.net / no ssl / default port

I don't do email via my phone now - same model. Just go online, it's easier as I use email everywhere, not just on the phone, so downloading all of the mail all of the time was getting very tedious.
