Gmtv does the job. Easy watching in the backgrond whilst you get ready for work, sort the kids out and have breaky. BBC news is ok but can sometimes be just too serious.

I think ITV are wrong if they want to go head to head with BBC, right now both channels provide a breakfast show that is very different from one another.

BBC = business, high brow focus. I tend to find you cant watch more than 1 hr of the BBC breakfast as they repeat their features hourly.
GMTV = light entertainment, show biz etc. Although to their credit they get good appearances from political leaders including the PM.

I dont mind either shows in their current format but Chiles is a complete turn off for me, find him dull and uninteresting.

At least Lorraine Kelly gets the axe too, cant stand her! - can you see my growler?
