The street magician seemed determined to say as little as possible as he joined Holmes on the sofa and stared deeply into his eyes.

At one point, Blaine revealed an image of an eye on his left palm explaining it was 'protection from death'.

Eamonn told The Mirror: "It was a nightmare. He was seriously spooky. He was obsessed with death, but I would have thought death would have been a happy release for a guy like that.
