2 very lucky guys. Met Kenny Brack at Silverstone some years ago whaen he won F3000. Lovely guy.

Crazy the way it just falls apart isnt it. Sod being in the tub during that though lol

 

I have never found the idea of oval racing either interesting from the spectator's point of view or driving for that matter. It is very dangerous at those sorts of speeds of course and Conway is very lucky to be alive.

I have driven round the Daytona Tri Oval in a single seater and it included the inner circuit as well as the bankings. The inner circuit was good fun to drive but the oval part of the circuit was a bit boring after the first time round the big banking. The car was not all that fast but I would not have enjoyed it any more in a fast car.
