Just watched a bit of football....
How can the commentary talk and analyse so much about a ball rolling around with little men chasing it! I got bored after a few minutes. Not that I know anything about it but I take it Japan are fairly low down the ranks too, and they are beating England 1-0! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I just don't get the fuss and emotion.
I also got talking to a group of girls on Friday night. They asked if I was looking forward to the world cup. Being ignorant I said I knew nothing about it...
They said F1 and rally were just cars going around a track and that it was boring.. Yep fair enough their opinion, I can see it from that point of view. When I suggested that football was just a ball going up and down a pitch followed by little men who start crying when they fall over... Well you can guess the response from a "defensive football fan".
Enjoy your worldcup fans! I'll drink at the pubs during some of the matches but most of the time I'll take advantage of the quiet roads

F1 IS just a load of cars going round a track, isnt it? Rallying is another 'ball-game' (pardon the pun).
Tip for the future- if a load of girls ask you if you are looking forward to the WC, and alcohol is involved, answer yes and suggest you are friends with Joe Cole.
Youll thank me next morning!

I came to the conclusion many years back when I used to support man utd that football is played by a bunch of ******* and supported by homo's that couldn't come to terms with their own gayness.

It gives the **** the idea that wearing diamond earings is a good idea, and other questionable style tips
Had a customer in before, young lad must have fancied himself as a bit of a style legend, with what looked like fake diamond swirly patterns in his jeans
It was sooooooooo hard for me NOT to ask him if he was wearing his sisters jeans, honestly as i was speaking to him my brain was trying to work out any kind of way, that i could possibley drop it into the conversation, i would consider myself pretty quickly witted, and usually funny things just tend to apear in my head without even giving it a any thought, but i could feel my brain cogs slowing down with sparkle overload, it was pissing me off that i could not think of a way to mention his sparkly jeans
Footballers created this nonsense for sure.
The ****ing *******.

Why can't jeans just be jeans anymore! Should have just asked him straight out if he was a gheyer.
The Jeans weren't a Damian 'skull diamond' Hirst creation were they?

You only seem to get football promoted as much as it is and some followers assume everyone likes it/should like it.
I'll be in Italy during the finals. Could be interesting...

cant stand football, cant stand the way people place so much importance on it in their lives.
Footballers are grossly overpaid by leaching of fans with costly entrance tickets and over inflated replica kit prices.
these 2 videos sum it up for me

Little point in arguing about it really is it. You follow what you are personally interested in surely.
I like watching cars going round a circuit but I also like to watch a good game of Rugby and also a decent game of football. I enjoyed the game against Mexico as much as anything for the excellent teamwork displayed by the Mexican team. They were all playing for each other even if their finishing was not so good.

This is quite a refreshing post as I thought I was the only one here who thought it was sh1te. Aside from the Dog's B**lcks who is obviously retarded there are a lot of sensible opinions on this thread.

Although in my defence I prefer to get drunk for big matches at home rather than start fights in a pub like a lot of the thuggish fans you can get.
I'm a drink-and-passout kinda guy, not a drink-and-scrap 'tard.

The bird didn't notice so I had to gently tell her my misses was waiting for her drink. Oops. Nice ***** though
