Generosity is not dead.
Its long but well worth a read (LINK)
Basic run down is that a guy had a bad bike accident and then suffered a severe stroke. He got into photography but dropped his camera due to his disabilities, people on the forum coughed up a bit each to buy him a new one, total so far is £1650 and counting.Julian, the guy concerned, seems a very modest chap and is quite overwhelmed by people helping him out.
All of you know by now that Wheels trashed his camera while covering a charity event recently.
He's a new member, but what better way to prove we are the friendliest Forum on the planet by helping a fellow photographer out?
