we are getting our dog tonight
tonight we pick up our dog a cockapoo, the kids dont know its a surprise
i will try and get some pic up tonight if i can work out how to do it

Have fun, have a bucket full of soapy water ready !
I love the fact he is getting a Dog, he always said never in a million years, he got worn down by the missus and kids for a Cat and got used to that, now he has ended with with a Dog as well
, he used to say to me why we bother when we had the old Dog, I can see a Pony arriving next year !
He makes out he is dead tough, he isnt really, big soft sh1te !

Its the trend to create Hybrids (Mongrels) from anything else and a Poodle to create an amusing name, we have a Yorkie-Poo, not for any trendy reasons but just thats what we got for £140 from a farm, small black scruffy dog with a lot of personality.
The reasoning is that Poodles are quite intelligent and have a none shedding coat, the hope is that these qualities get mixed in with the other breed creating something sturdy, healthy that doesnt make you sneeze and is a bit smarter than the shoe its chewing and has a bigger gene pool and hopefully less inherited issues that some pedigrees have, its by no means an exact science but sounds reasonable to me, and no, I am not saying all pedigrees are unhealthy mutants !

It is just a way of identifying the components of what is otherwise a Mongrel, its easier to say cockapoo rather than Cocker Spaniel Poodle first generation hybrid, I think its kind of caught the imagination as people like getting "poo" in there, it sounds slightly scatalogical and a bit cutesy.

well the cats not impressed, he was a bit scared of it,
whenever he walked up to the cat, the cat buggered off,
we kept them both in last night. dog in cage for now, and cat on settee in the extension, we never heard a peep from either so thats good news,
got up this morning and he did a massive turd on the kitchen lino, andrea range me and its pickled on the paper for the first time so the process of training it begins at the weekend.
its seems to be up and very active, then want to snuggle in and nod off for half an hour,
seems nice enough considering we werent getting one.
it was hilarious last night,
we told the kids i was going to get a package for work, so we set off and the farm was near gainsborough, lincs and we live near man airport, so we arrived a couple of hours later, and they didnt twig even when we were at the farmhouse, sam picked it up and coudlnt believe we were here to get the dog, he kept saying really, really honestly,really,
