Default Wedding car help - Yorkshire.

I am to be made an honest Man next Jan so i've started looking around for a Wedding Car. As the boss is choosing all the details of the day, i have been tasked with sorting the car I don't want to do the Rolls Royce/Bentley/Jag thing and certainly not the clonky old vintage effort. I've spent hours on the net looking round at cars i find my self struggling. Can anyone suggest a good company to use around the Wakefield area? I would be quite happy with an Aston, GTR, Mustang or similar - as a very out there idea i would even be happy with a stretch Mini but can't seen to find any of those in my locality. Over to you

What about a genuine rally car? I know someone who has driven a few people to the church in a rally car. I know its a bit left field, but it is certainly different!

Superiormotorcars does look a quality outfit but nothing they have grabs me
Luminous - can you suggest anywhere which can provide the service? I guess however that a rally car would be one seat short
Leslie - she would kick me square in the ***** if a motor bike turned up - esp in the middle of Jan

Yes, I can give you a number. You may possibly be a little out of his area, but there is nothing wrong with giving him a call. You have PM.

Got a text off my friend with regards to rally car hire for weddings. He has more than one, so I dunno if that will sort out your seating issues??

Its certainly a good option for the groom

Cheers Luminous - The Car i'm after is one which can transport the ball and chain to be and her old man to the church and then the married couple back to the reception venue. As much as i'd go for it - i don't think she would want to start off married lives in separate cars
The hire thing i've looked at. I could swallow the hire cost but there is no way i could risk the £3-5k deposit.
The GTR in Leeds sounds good - do you think the chap would be up for it in any way shape or form?

I'm not large by any stretch and my missus is a midget - regardless - if a GTR was going to do the job for us - i would damn well make sure we would both fit

Hmmm, yes, I can see the issue as a rally car does tend to be only a two seater. Ah well, good luck in your hunt

Buy a cheap classic and stretch that, a FWD one would be easiest....

dunx - i'll take it

Sam, number of doors matters not to me as long as the car is coooooooooool, and the missus likes it Personally, i could settle for a Bentley continental cos i know full well what lurks under the bonnet - that to me is cool. The missus doesn't care what lurks under the bonnet as long as it looks the part. Her ideal car btw is Eleanor There are reps around, but not in my part of the world
