Default Lies? Damn lies? and Statistics?

It's in The Sun so I guess it must be true but it doesn't account for the amount of immigrants that are presently unemployed. (Yes there are some unemployed immigrants on benefits.)

We were discussing this only last night, and it is amazing how many people get comfortable on benefits and cannot get off their fat, lazy backsides for the sake of an extra tenner a week. We are no longer the proud nation we used to be, instead just too arrogant - too good to work for minimum wage when there's nothing else going, can't see the benefits of doing voluntary work to break into a job sector and get experience/references, etc. No wonder the immigrants get the jobs, because they are will to work

Nothing quite like sitting around letting someone else pay the taxes to keep you going though is there!

It is a big change in attitude as you say. Years ago no one whould ever want to be thought to be lazy like that. It was a matter of personal pride to be working and improving yourself as well. No sense of responsibility whatsoever!
