Hmmm let me guess, ***** cut off then made to pay tax on the download then made to pay tax to the bloke who cut your ***** off then another tax on your broadband usage because you used so much bandwith?

On a more serious note... who thinks the days of freedom on the internet will soon be over? I think there's bound to be some sort of controls in place eventually, meaning that these good times we've had, with a total free reign and freedom to post/look at whatever we want, would come to an end.

They will end up chasing young teenagers who have no clue they are breaking any law, they don't want to be buying cd's anymore, they are out of date and a pain in the **** and in any case copying that bought cd to put on your Ipod is illegal anyway in this country.
If the music companies weren't so blatantly trying to rip everyone off with 79 pence per track downloads (compare it with cd @ £10, then add packaging, labour costs, transport, store profit etc) when they only make in the region of £3 profit on disk sales, so they are expecting a 300% increase in profit with downloads, but with the consumer effectively getting much less.
Not to mention both industries made record profits last year, but still cried that piracy was killing the industry.
