Default Lost luggage compensation.

Do you think I can claim any compensation. I went on holiday with the wife and kids, when I got to Turkey my suitcase didnt turn up which had all my stuff in.
We returned home last sunday still no sign of the suitecase. I rang them up yesterday and apparently its at Manchester airport now and will be dispatched on wednesday.

Do you think it will be worthwhile me trying to get some cash out of them. It didnt ruin my holiday but if I had all my clothes with me it would of been alot better.

Yes as I had nothing except what I was wearing.
Thomas cook gave me £25 every 24hrs for 3 days so £75 in total. As you can imagine this doesnt buy you many clothes.
The suitcase also contained the family toiletries including the kids suncream which we had to replace.

Yes, Air France gave me £100 quid as they delayed my luggage on a trip to Brazil... You can also claim some £££ off your travel insurance company

£25 a day is ridiculous. You had no clothes ffs. I'd have replaced what I needed as and when, kept all receipts then submitted them to travel company on return. On top of the receipts I would expect some compensation for the fact you were (?) out buying clothes/supplies when you are suppose to be enjoying a break.

It was their fault so I reckon they should pay up.
