A £40 pair will last around 4 years for me, so that works out at 16 years for the same cost and i get to have different styles and others to wear while some get washed. I used to wear £100+ jeans still have a few pairs but your paying for a name more than anything else. The best jeans i've ever bought and lasted was a pair of Diesel Jeans had them 8 years or so now and still like new and they were £135.

I can vouch that Howies jeans last and last and last. Especially the organic one - very tough.

I can assure you that my jeans have a rough time of it and still keep going.

Azz, if my jeans looked the same after eight years I'd be gutted. A good pair of jeans matures with age.

10 years ago you probably were a lot thinner Use track suit bottoms as thats what I use due to jeans ripping far too easy.

Those ironhearts I posted a link to are beasts. They're about twice the thickness of regular jeans so can take a battering but they come at a premium price and they will be warm in the coming summer months!

You won't exactly be going out dressed in them, I go thru far less pairs of track suit bottoms than I would jeans when wearing then for work. Jeans rip really easy where as track suit bottoms stretch so last a little longer

I wear jeans for work and wear £25 pairs from Next, absolutely no way i'd buy expensive pairs for work, I do have Levis, Bench and French Connection jeans but not for work.

The ones you posted i would hope they changed appearence over night never mind 8 years, the ones i have are almost the same design as are being sold today by Diesel. I like shopping for clothes and this particular pair of jeans is an exception to anything i have ever bought, its quite ridiculous though to spend that much on work jeans IMO i just wear old as i buy new and the odd pair of combats through summer.
