I keep reading about Arson attacks on homes and wondered if your house is burned down by some lunatic arsonist or even someone with a major grudge. Does your buildings insurer pay out and if so does it make any difference if it is random or targetted?

Presumably the same would apply to the contents....?

Never thought about that. I would hope it would be covered in the way that contents insurance should cover against burglars.

Its a frightening thought that it should happen anyway-people die because of that!
