Unhappy Scratch in furniture - Tips?

Grrr, was setting up the PC last night on my nice new oak veneer desk (solid oak was too expensive before you ask ) and have managed to scratch it

Its not a particularly deep or long scratch but enough to notice. Any tips for getting it out?

Must have been a bit of grit or something on one of the PCs feet as it happened as I was sliding it into place. Wish I'd stuck some felt pads to them first now but hindsight is a wonderful thing etc.

Thanks for your help!

I agree. And a framed photo of your lovely better half. Maybe some cushions, candles and perhaps a nice flower arrangement too
