Default New Dad again at 40

I turn 40 in a couple of weeks and my other half has recently told me she's pregnant( and it is mine before anyone asks)

Already have a 17 year daugther and a 12 year old son from a previous relationship so ive forgtton what its like to have a newborn...

TBH im looking forward to starting it all over again being a hell of alot of older this time round...

Anyone else been in a similar position, hitting the big four'0 with a new baby on the way?

Not quite the same circumstances mate, I had my first son at 19 and I thought I knew it all, looking back I wonder how I managed to support his mother and himself on the pittance I was earning, but you just do.

I am 35 and Mrs T has twins on the way due in June / July this year.

I can't wait, totally different scenario and much more financially secure than first time around. As someone pointed out the other day though, I have many more commitments in life now, and the job I do now places greater demands and pressures on me than where I was when I was 19.

Congratulations to you both - enjoy it.....

i had my little boy in october 08 and i was 37 so nearly 40,he was my first and it changed my life in so many ways-for the better,i think it makes you more determined in life to succeed so he/she can get as good a life as possible.to say i adore him is an understatement,he is so ace, his mom is same age so we were getting on slightly age wise, but its not that bad,no sleep,no money,no nookie, did i say its not so bad ?lol
