BT and Yahoo?!
Is it just me - or does anyone else get totally confused by the whole BT Yahoo thing.
I am a BT Total Broadband customer and if I need to change my email settings I need to log into BTYahoo. From there it is a mystery. I am suddenly in the middle of a bunch of Yahoo links for whom I am not a customer and that do not relate to what I want to do.
I really don't get why as a BT customer it forces me to be a Yahoo customer for a whole bunch of things I have not signed up for or have no interest in. Finding the BT settings to change is a bluddy nightmare!

Yup, and you need a bt email address, and a bt yahoo email address IIRC
Bt were sending my bills to one of them (the one i never used after signing up) and i remember some kind of PITA thing happening because of this.
IIRC they also spaminstall some crap yahoo software when you use the homehub, i HATE products that do that

I'm with BT and they gave me an email address. Just signed in and set it up so any emails get forwarded to my proper email address. Works a treat.
Only thing is I need to try to sign in to a previous BT account and remove that one as, even though I stopped the Bt contract about 7 years ago, the email still exists and I got a forwarded email from it ....
Oh, and never install an ISP's SW. Just get your own router and set it up yourself.
