Question dust under the screen on iphone...

have been looking on the interweb and have seen that a few people get them changed over foc when they have gone into a apple store as they have got dust etc under the screen.

i got my 3gs when it was released last year and have got dust specks in the middle under the screen.


anyone here changed theres because this?

No - but I have a speck of dust in one corner of the screen, it's really annoying. I thought it was a faulty pixel at first, but after a careful look it's definitely dirt behind the glass

Are you SURE it's not dust under a screen protector? Don't mean to be rude at all! I Didn't realise when I got my 3GS that the salesbird put a protector on. Replaced it and "Nearly" perfect!

I can't see how a spec of dust can get under the glass screen on the phone.

I also would wonder if there was a screen protector on it. Does the home button feel quite flush, or a little rough when you run your finger over it?

There is a iPhone vacuum app to remove dust from under the screen.

Yes I thought that too but we used some baby oil and she loved it after that.

Me and Mr P have an i phone 3g s, his has a screen protector on, but mine doesn't. You can feel a difference.

How does the dust get under the screen?? I'm a plasterer and my phone is in some of the most dust conditions ever and its still fine.
