Wink Flight Security

My gal is flying to Dublin tomorrow to stay with her brother James for a few days.

I want her to take James a bottle of malt - is she allowed to pack this in a suitcase - I know she can't take it through as hand luggage?

Thanks, David

There is no restriction on liquids in your suitcase. I regularly bring back various 1ltr bottles of things from America.

Edit: Pack it well though!

Thanks Steve

I'll get her to wrap it in bubble pack and stick in the middle with bunch of clothes around it. David

I've no idea but Dublin is bloody expensive

But he would never buy a bottle because he has no money

It was an Xmas present from dad when James was over here but stoopid dad forgot it couldn't be taken on board. James was Ryanairing with only an in-flight bag.

Generally 1.5 times UK prices in my experience

Heres a very basic example.
Our company use a place called Prometric for microsoft certification
If we do an exam in Belfast it costs £88
If we do the same exam in Dublin it costs €180
Nuts - Dublin does everything differently

Subaru WRX STI - approx €60,000
Pint of Guiness - €4.00 - €5.00 (OK depends on pub location etc)
