Default I love my bank!

I have just recently joined HSBC with a Premier Account.

They have just phoned me to check in that I am happy and to wish me Happy Birthday for my birthday next week.

What does that cost £30/mth??? or something daft. Lot of money just to get someone to ring you and say happy birthday

I've had an HSBC premier account for over a year now. Haven't heard from them once, certainly not on my birthday.

Why is it a look at me?

The reason I have a premier account is actually nothing to do with how much money I may or may not have as assumed by you and the above - it was given to me as my company has it's business accounts with HSBC.

Of course if you want to be envious then fill yer boots.

I've just moved my enormous wealth (I wish ) from Santander to HSBC, so I'd be interested in any problems you're having with them - I hope I haven't just jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.

Nothing to worry about, just the usual - sick of having no local manager, speaking to India (which I won't do when it comes to discussing something as important as my finances) and having been with them for 20 years, feel we should be more than just a number to be ignored. I've rang 4 times now to speak to our Premier Manager and am still waiting for her to call me back

I don't understand, why don't you have a local manager? Then who is the Premier Manager you refer to?

My local branch has two counter clerks and that is it. Premier Manager, I have no idea. They change so often and work from one of the bigger City branches.

Hi Lee - I think I am lucky. I live in the sticks and so my business manager and premier manager are both there to help out whenever needed. They have been very good - but there again they have both given me their direct numbers so I don't end up in the call centre.

In mild defence of the 'India' thing - to be fair to HSBC they didn't move their service offshore - they were already there as a truly global bank with massive operations in Asia. Hope you get it sorted.

My own experience has been better than any bank I have ever dealt with, and I work in the banking industry.

They are getting the boot, with a very strongly worded letter to whoever the head boy is. They are useless
One week later, a phone call. What was she doing, her nails
