Has any one asked you where you left it?
Think of what type / colour of camoflague it is, then search all areas similar in appearance and texture. And the best of British....

More common than you think.

I went into the Army Surplus store and asked if they had camouflage gear - they said yes but didn't know where it was.

If I could find it - i'd get your coat & mine

We used to get senior officers wearing those in exercises trying to look like Action Man!

We never bothered.

Common problem I hear. This guy is using it to get out of the ironing

You didnt need to wear action man clothes where you were. You instead went for the "I'm wearing a big target, shoot me if you can" look

Most of the time during those exercises you were sculling around from pillar to post trying to hide from the bright young chaps making decisions most of which countermanded each other!

It was a relief to get scrambled so that you could get away from it all for a few hours.

The dead fighter pilot heard "bandits at 3 o'clock" he thought he was safe as it was only half one.

You would have loved them Swiss, they had a field kitchen in the open air next to a stream full of sewerage, so once again we didn't bother!

How we loved those exercises!
