I used to hate things on fridges as it looks messy but i now realise i couldn't be without my makeshift notice/junk board.
I have 2 appointments, a school holiday calender, a few random photos and some home made fridge magnets holding on my daughters pictures and some stickers.
Since my kitchen has been done i am now able to access the side of my fridge but dont know what to stick on it yet.

We have had a habit of getting a fridge magnet every time we go somewhere new, done it since we got married. We now have an extensive collection on the fridge doors

I have nothing on my fridge. Well the one in the kitchen is built in, the one in the garage has some lovely pictures on it from when a mates child decided she was going to find a 'lost' crayon from behind the sofa and have a scribble! That is now 'the beer fridge' and luckily is never seen.
Any pictures they do get stuck either in the children's cupboard or on display until I decide it will either get filed away with the cute things in his box, of filed under B (bin).

We have a lovely stainless steel us style fridge and nothing is allowed on the front. One side has the kids drawings/scribbles which are rotated on a strict basis. They never ask where the older 'work of arts' disappear
Though the recycling bin is always full
