On the flip side, I have used them 3-4 times, and they have been faultless. Apart from once being out of stock, but called to advise they were replacing it with another.

Was it actual e-tyres that said they dont cover you, or the agent its farmed out to?

Have to agree, I've used them a few times, although they always send the same fitters out so now I get a quote from etyres and then ring the fitters direct who always beat the quote.

I used them without a problem till their monkey dragged a wheel weight half weight around my rim scratching it to ****! I got him to come back and he denied all knowledge of it whilst rubbing the scratch with his thumb and telling me how to fit tyres. Then he got shirty cos he didn't like that I'd been in the trade longer than him and had him bang to rights so he wheelspan his way out of the car park! Tosser!

I use a local guy now and get free nitrogen, which seems to be good stuff

It was via etyres site, then phoned the freephone no. etc

wouldnt mind if it had said they didnt do the area in the first place
not having me wait 2 days to find this out and then they didnt know of the order!

anyway, had to opt for a cheapie at the local tyre place today

I have used them many times (including three free puncture repairs) and they are almost the cheapest (compared with Black Circles) but they come to you thus saving time and hassle.

Their central "call centre" isn't the best in the world, but if you get a good fitter then you get sorted. Indeed the fitters are actually touting for direct business, as they know more about local stock levels etc.

As for "nitrogen", well the air you breathe is 4/5-ths nitrogen anyway, so any extra benefit is debatable
