Here a question on strippers. Now I was always lead to believe that females do not want to see a naked bloke and find the whole thing disgusting and would turn and walk away. Women see men as sex mad beings – and those who go to see female strippers are perverts.

Has this now changed....?

A social club near us has 5 nights in a year where they have male stripper on (the full monty & walk around type thing). The occasions are sold out, so much so that the strippers are on from 9.00pm but the room is full by 7.15 and the bar till drawer is going like a piston. The noise from the room is deafening and when they come out, the women ‘dis’ the whole thing and say things like ‘well you’ve seen one – you’ve seen the all’ – but they are the ones who are back again next time.

The club has stopped female strippers, as last year it clashed with a football match on the TV and so not one male went into the room to watch her and the next time they booked her about 20 blokes watched.

Now I’m not trying to spoil the fun and if you like that sort of thing, then go and watch and enjoy (and for the club, they make a fortune).

I’m just interested why we still have the belief that blokes are watching because they are perverts and women are watching because it’s a good laugh. And do most women secretly like that sort of thing but are too prudish to say.

I think its quite well known that women can be much more "full on" with a male stripper. They will go that much further than most blokes would with a female stripper. Blokes will still have the treat her gently approach and usually not go for a grope whereas women will see a male stripper as fair game.

I'm not prudish but it's not something I have any interest in. Given the choice I'd rather look at a normal bloke, fully dressed, down the pub than a greasy over-tanned stripper in a room full of screaming women.
Years ago I had a fling with a male model/ stripper but it didn't last long because he had the personality of a yogurt and was thick as $hit.

Besides which with a stripper if he's not wearing any clothes then how can I tell if he has good taste in shoes?

I remember a few years ago having a good week in work, heading the strippers with the lads, giving it the big 'un and buying 8 girls at a time. Biggest waste of money ever, i challenge any one to keep an eye on 16 nipples!!! Good fun trying though haha

I don't think it is perverted at all, good looking naked people are great to look at!

However I just wouldn't have fun watching it. Trying the whole time to act as if you are not turned on, when you obviously would be would just be too hard.

Also as much as I think strippers are gorgeous, both male and female, it's just not my thing, i'd rather have a real man that I could actually touch, rather than be teased.

The thought of being the 'after party' when Mr P came home from the 'starter' at a strip club turns me right off.

I think if you enjoy it, then you should go and have a good time. But its the 'dissing' of it afterwards and the belief that male strippers are seen as a bit of fun, but females are viewed as being watchd by pervy men

Personally I find women tend to have terrible double standards when it comes to this kind of thing a few months ago a group of us from work went to newquay, a couple had bought their missus's along as well who were only to happy to tell us about the hen night they went to and the stripper who stuck his ***** in their drinks and how sexy he was and what they would do to him if they were single.
