Cheeky neighbours
One of my neighbours who has a driveway away form his house and next to our garden has just shovelled a 3' wall of snow off his drive on to my garden.
Now i'm all for being neighbourly but none of the neighbours round here are friendly so went out and told him I wasn't particularly happy with him emptying the snow off his drive and car all over my garden and plants.
He is now out there shovelling it back up into a large bucket and moving it onto his own garden.
I don't think i'm being unreasonable, especially as these are people who aren't exactly friendly neighbours.
Would you have just let him do it?

I think I'd have just explained you don't think thats fair and please refrain from doing so in the future rather than make him shovel it all back again to try and keep some peace.
Or if I was feeling energetic I'd have gathered as much snow as possible and put that on his drive, ideally in front of his car and front door for my own source of amusement

It's only a bit of snow mate, in a couple of weeks it will have all melted.
I cleared my drive this morning and then cleared my neighbour's drive (he's 75), snow was dumped on both gardens.

at pelting him with snow *****
I went back out and had a word as I was going to the car and said I wasn't being difficult, more a case the 3' of snow now on top of the plants would more than likely flatten them to a pancake and take ages to thaw being so compact. I'm not clearing my own drive so as to not pile it up on the garden.
He did apologise and said he understood and then had a chat so all was fine. He now has a 3' high bank of snow on his front garden

Nah, ya did the right thing really, so did he in the end, even if he is a "they who shall not be spoken" fan. He was looking after no1 to start with and that's unacceptable in a community. All's ok now so good.
Bet ya didn't know Quasi Modo was a Gunner did ya, you may have seen me in goal, i'm like Tarzan swinging about, only without the looks, talent, brain power or grace, that aside i'm doing well. My cousin plays for Pompey.

i live on the main road in to Ashford Kent and my next door neighbour and the house oppossite me cleared there driveways and put all of the snow on the pavement blocking it?
They both made piles about 2ft to 3ft high.....it was if they were trying to say "nothing to do with me!"

Nah he's not into football, none of the neighbours are and don't seem to have anything in common with any of them. How can blokes not be into at least one of football, fast cars, motorbikes, games consoles or any sport what so ever? I moved to the wrong neighbourhood!
SS know what you mean, was out driving this afternoon and some old bu66er was out clearing his drive and shovelling all his snow out onto the road which hadn't been gritted or ploughed and so just making the road worse. He was just chucking it out without a care in the World that he was chucking it all over the cars driving past
