Well i think it is wrong to anesthetise an animal unless its absolutely necessary. Pigs by nature have a lot of fat and and this would make it dangerous when you sedate it if it wasn't monitored carefully.
It looked to me like the pig felt something which means that the sedation was too light in that instance. I think its cruel.
