9.2% increase in my council tax!!!!!

are they taking the pi55 or what.

the police bit has increased by 27%!!!!!!!

and reading through all the gumph they state 4.5% is inflation!!!

ahhh that's better - now either need a new job or a pay rise!

The police bit, whats that all about, mine has gone up 26.5%, Council section 11%. Bargain eh....

Ours is over £1200 and we live in a 3 bed semi in weybridge.

Of course its not the governments fault as always is it. And will be get better services for it. Will we hell. Our council leaders pay has just gone from 28k to 56 k . Bloody scandalous.

Fortunately my house was cheap, wouldn't be able to afford the council tax otherwise

I won't see any benefit, but i understand the money is needed because councils haven't been saving enough for pension funds

Mines not got up much (5%), still have to pay 1459 per annum which is a fair chunk of cash every month, would be a fair way towards a nice new Scoob I think.

Gah just moved from a rented house which included council tax and am now paying £108 per month between 3 of us - bummer!

Mines gone up 8%, last year it was £84 a month to this year £92,we live in Thatcham in a 2 bed semi.
