Default Your 'Man Drawer'.

I am sure that you all have one, even if it's got a different name.

Mr P has one full of things that seem like they may come in useful for something, but at present, have stayed dormant since the kitchen was built!

So what is in your 'man drawer'?

I have a `Man Flat`. Full of ****, Xbox360, PS3, car mags, and a big Fcukoff Plasma.

Not a fluffy cushion in sight. The way I like it. No girls allowed. I go round her's instead, and go back to mine for all the above, and most importantly, peace and quite.

Basically, it's a case of `go round, **** it, go home again`.

I have several Man drawers, once for useful looking things, bits of metal and stuff like that, power cables and adaptors, aeriel stuff, audio wires, tools and so on, in my man shed and some in the few feet of garage that isnt full of domestic applicances.

When I was young I found a live cartridge and cut the metal cap off. I was about 10. I put the metal cap in a vice and hit it with a hammer. It was a bit loud

Our loft is one giant man drawer. All my tools and toys are up there. I'm building a railway up there.

Probably quite hard but when I am searching for something I can get quite ratty and do some intense rummaging, wouldnt really want to chance it, in our house it would be the kids messing with one I would worry about though, not an issue if you havent got kids.

I am sure its pretty safe but it just doesnt seem quite right having ammo loose in a drawer.

Why the ?

The shotgun cartridges are perfectly safe there. They're only dangerous when you put them in a Shotgun. They'll need a bit more than just a knock to set them off.

I have a 'man cupboard'; contains a lot of climbing kit and safety kit for being out in the mountains;

The GF is now officially banned from using anything in there as - I can prove your honour:

(a) I found her cooking with my emergency head torch (45h max use)
(b) She'd raided the expedition first aid kit for plasters and painkillers (none left)
(c) She'd used the batteries out of my avalanche transceiver
(d) My ski repair tools were at school (she's a teacher)

When I buy a house, I'll have a 'man room' with a lock on it

- for the 'man room'.

Sounds like a great idea, will give me somewhere to lock the old man away when he's been rambling on about pointless/useless crud.
