Watch, removing scratches from a crystal face ?
I did a thread in recently asking about removing scratches from a brushed stainless steel finish on a watch and also how to remove a couple of tiny scratches from a glass face on a watch.
Ive done the brushed stainless steel part, all i need now is a product that will remove some tiny scratches on a crystal glass watch face.
Has anyone successfully done this, if so what did you use ? The watch is a Seiko. Thanks

The Seiko will use a Hardlex crystal, which isnt as tough as synthetic sapphire. Whether it can be pokished up is another matter though. Have to looked to see if a new crystal is available? It shouldnt be too expensive.

What suprised me is the crystal face is supposed to be scratch proof, mine has been in a draw for a number of years, it must have been done whilst in the draw as i only wore it once or twice, even then it wouldn`t have had any hard knocks.
Its quite a rare Seiko Kinetic Arctura, ive done the capicitor upgrade which was straight forward so all thats left is to try and remove these scratches on the crystal glass face if poss.

As it is the face would it not be better overall tog et it looked at professionally as you may fix it or stuff it, thus resulting in having to get the face replaced. A small expense could save a bigger one.
