A bloke on the way to us for an interview was riding down the Purley Way through floodwater on his motorbike. What he didn't realise was that the water had raised a manhole cover and his front wheel disappeared into it, he was thrown headfirst into the water, his helmet filled with water and he couldn't breathe! Fortunately a passing motorist was able to help and he spent a night in A&E after having been pumped full of penicilin and tetnus etc!

We let him have the interview when he was out...

insurance company will say its a act of god and your not covered.

good job the cover didnt hit the fuel tanker.
