Why waste money on that junky by locking it up, give him a few weeks and he'll likely overdose.... saving us all a few quid

Good luck to him.
Maybe they should get him under the New Labour "hard on crime, hard on the causes of crime" 50 strikes and you're out (with brain damage) initiative
Cricket bat please.

This. Eventually, he's quite likely to get the boot wrong and OD.

So much effort to punish his overly strict father.

So called celebrities are never really guilty of breaking the law. The whole business is never their fault.

Time he was taught the meaning of discipline in such a way that he never forgets it!

He's hardly been let off though has he - he was caught for drink driving & punished accordingly. Plus he's a drug addict, and probably always will be - this is his crime & also his punishment.

Unhappy

I was in hospital just over a week ago, oppisite me as a scumbag heroin addict/drunk, in again as he had got in such a state through drink and drugs he needed hospital treatment.

He had visits from various agencies (usually two to three people a day) each and every day to make sure he had what he needed, etc. He had a damn site more attention than he rest of us in hospital through no fault of our own. He had his daily methodone and other drugs

listening to him (he was loud) he had no intention of giving up his habit or drinking, what a waste of resources...

It seems druggies are victims and not criminals

So true. The little turd stain.

Stick him in one of those Blue Oyster bars, that'll learns him.

BREAKING NEWS! Amy Winehouse has scratched her **** (after 2 hours instruction on how to find it with both hands).
I tried to say that i could sing and they said NO NO NO!

I loved The Libertines and I quite liked Babyshambles too.

The apoplectic cries to stone him make me laugh. I doubt that Pete Docherty gets treated any differently to any other recidivist; although he may have a better solicitor.

Couldn't poosibly send him to prison

He doesn't need our help in getting stoned mate, that's one of his problems.
If he's a national treasure can we bury him?
i'll get my spade.I 've got a feeling i'll have to wait in the queue though.

Talentless t*at, famous for being infamous, habitual criminal. Waste of space.

Money may not buy you class, but it can, regrettably, get you a kick-*** solicitor!

I never said my comments about him as a musician were fact: music is inherently a matter of taste. However, I do doubt his technical ability as a musician and a singer!

As a person, I think his long string of convictions make my comments pertaining to his character hard to dispute
