Default Camcorders

Hi Guys and Gals

I went and got a new camcorder today, early xmas present, and am so disappointed. I got a Panasonic sdr-h90 I read a few reviews and everyone was raving about it and its 70x optical zoom.
Anyway, tried it straight away and the picture is rubbish. Its really fuzzy and foggy, I put it straight back in the box to take back.

Can anyone recommend me one from personal experience ???

Ive just been on a course for work and have used a combination of a Sony Hybrid DCR-DVD 110 camcorder and a Nikon D300 digital SLR.
Over two days constant use of the Sony,IMO, it gave me some good results.
Dont think the optical zoom spec is as high as yours, but the carl Zeiss lens worked very well.

Panasonic have a good reputation, either you have used it incorrectly (unlikely) or there's some thing wrong with it.....

i went into shop purchased from, and the guy said "are you playing it back on an HD tv ?" Thats the problem if you are. You need to get a HD one for it to play back on a HD tv.
