Yeah, not the best way.

Scary that he was convicted largely on the victim identifying him. Especially when the victim was only 9 years old. Probably scared NOT to pick someone out of the line-up, so just picked someone.

Just hope that the boy (now a man) has some sort of guilt over having an innocent man sent to jail for the last 35 years.

Terrible thing to lose 35 years of your life like that.

Hope the payment to him will help to get him established in a decent enough lifestyle to make up for it as much as possible.

If he was in this country, we'd probably charge him bed and board.

He'd be lucky to get his BFH.

Yeah - looks like his religious belief helped him out.
I'd just go mad.
I guess he didn't have the same lawyer OJ had.

the US, try, convict and execute on the flimsiest of evidence imaginable

shocking really

they execute a lot of guilty people but quite a few innocent too

Wouldn't happen in this country

Our at least Police do a proper job of fabricating the evidence needed to get a conviction

Good old american justice,1m dont seem so much for 35 years of your life.Most people probably wouldnt be around to see any so called justice.
