Got a covering here high up just outside Maidstone and still snowing. The dogs in for a shock when she goes out for the loo, she's never seen snow before and the slightest change spooks her

When i lived down south if there was 2 inch off snow the school heating would blow up and everything slowed down.
Then a good few year ago i moved up north. They get a foot off snow and just carry on like its nothing lol. And for some reason the snow drops are huge lol
It is trying at moment

In the last 2 hours we've had several inches of snow in St Albans.
Girls in high heels tottering about and absolute gridlock everywhere. Almost froze my brain on the walk home.
Not looking good for getting into work tomorrow.

They weren't kidding when they said it was going to snow hard. Just looked outside and the garden is covered and its like a blizzard so if that continues all night it will be fun in the morning.

Came down the A14 from Huntingdon to Newmarket earlier. I've never seen snow conditions like it. The snow was driving across the road and everyone was going at somewhere around 15mph. 2 cars off into ditches and visibility down to about 10 metres. I enjoyed it, though it took a lot of concentration. One lane of traffic driving down the middle of the road.
Hope it snows like crazy tonight and settles some more.
