We took part in our local Santa Dash (in aid of the local Cancer hospice), don't worry - I'm not bugging you for sponsorship, there are enough good causes we all support.

We had a good 400+ runners taking part including our local MP over the 2.5 mile course which was mercifully flat. When the rain came down sideways about one hour before the start I harboured thoughts about staying in the house and saying "sod it" but I was glad I didn't and joined in with the mayhem.

So, 4km covered in 30 minutes... Not a good time for me on my own but I was wearing an ill-fitting Santa outfit and pushing the twins in their double buggy and we finished 60th (and 61st, 62nd and 63rd!)
