Took my 7 month old daughter out for the afternoon on Saturday by myself. About 3pm noticed she needed the old nappy changing (was quite obvious when she was in the car ). As I had just parked in a P&D carpark, I decided to use their facilities. There was a sign to Gent, Ladies, Baby Changing and Disabled. Followed the signs for BC but could not see them, until I poked my head into the Ladies and saw it there. So, developing a huge "New Man" attitude I walked, head held high, into the ladies and set about the job in hand. Did not get any hassle for the usual patrons (in fact got some nice comments re the baby )).

This was the first time I've had to use BC that was in a ladies, though I've seen plenty of other places that have them in the Ladies only areas. What's wrong with the designers of these places? Don't they expect Dads to be out with babies by themselves?

Good job we men dont hark on like women do about equal rights.
I mean "Mother & Baby Parking" outside Supermarkets - whats THAT all about. Does that mean to park in these bays I need to take the wife along to shop when out with my little girls ??
How about "Parent Parking" eh.

Had a right go at a bloke driving with his girlfriend in a 2 seater car when he parked in a baby space recently.
Kept bumping into him then in the store & I swear he was gonna swing for me !!

Guess he didn't like being told off in front of the girlfriend !

Yes I find the same.

Also when are they going to open a Fathercare? and the changing area in most of the Mothercare stores is called Mummys room etc..

The best place for facilities I have been too is Blue water although even then when you take the baby into the feeding room you get a few funny looks as all the women have there ***** out..
tough t1tty!
