I will start the (golf) ball rolling with... "he is making a good recovery but not out of the woods yet"
Seriously though, I hope its nothing too serious. What speed was he coming out of his driveway!

Not good, hope he is OK.
EDIT - apparently out with a few minor cuts.
He was heard to have shouted "fore" before driving into the trees

Quote>"Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Kim Montes said the accident did not meet the criteria of a serious crash, and they only put out a press release because of inquiries from local media. Montes added that air bags in Woods' vehicle did not deploy. "
Then...
" The 33-year-old's wife Elin told police she used a golf club to smash out the back window of the car after hearing the crash from the house, local Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told the Associated Press news agency. Chief Daniel Saylor of the Windermere Police Department Saylor says his officers, who found Woods lying in the street drifting in and out of consciousness, do not believe alcohol was involved. "
So, it did not merit a serious crash, and no air bags went off. Yet his wife had to smash the rear screen, presumably to get him out, and he was found drifting in and out of conciousness.
Something doesn't add up to me.

She found out he was cheating, grabbed a club and chased after him. Smacked him round the head and he passed out trying to drive away. She smashes the car up some more, he stumbles outside. Seeing whats shes done begins to apologise, he apologises for doing the dirty on her. They promise each other they'll make it work and concoct this story in order to cover up the cracks in a strained relationship.
Least, thats probably how it would happen in our house

I have a very similar theory. The whole smashing the BACK window of the Escalade to get him out just dont make sense!
I agree, arguement in house, she gives chase with club, smashes car as he drives away, maybe he did take a whack, would explain facial injuries... then he crashes and she runs to help (coming to her senses)
thats good

I have noticed that the presenters are now rephrasing the way they mention the wifes statement about the read screen. From "she broke it to free him" to "She SAYYYYSS that she broke it to free him" Implying that its believed it was broken for another reason.
They are playing it smart, heads low, no reports or investigations, just getting on with it. Im sure Tiger will take any charges thrown at him by the police, unless it blows up and they are gonna split.
