OK just watched this afternoon.
For me a 6/10
Beginning is quite well structured then unfortunately the story line wears a bit thin.
2 .40 hours long and well padded out.
Cinemas were packed all afternoon

What a crock of entertaining cr*p!!!!.

Yes it is to long, but if you have time to waste this weekend, you will enjoy it. Next week Avatar and New Moon.

8.5/10 CGI Etc.
5/10 Plot.
2/10 believe ability.

Makes you wonder what or if anything will happen. After all every major religion and extinct society can't all be wrong can they??.

All Roland Emmerich films are unbelievable and lacking any depth. They aren't for that, they're for pushing the envelope in visual dynamics and special effects. Purchase large popcorn, switch off brain and enjoy. Remember to restart brain at end credits

Went to see this today is it was pissing down with rain and not much else to do. Thought it was quite good, lots of action but would agree maybe a little long, as i said tho had lots of time to waste today and didnt want to sit in.
