Default ebay fee's help

can anyone tell me what percentage ebay take from the final price an item is sold for..ive read its 10% upto a maximum of £40, does that mean ebay wont take anymore than £40 or that its 10% upto £40 then a higher pecentage after that, if that makes sence.

thanks

The way I read it, the maximum Final Value fee you will ever pay is £40. So if your item is sold for £400 or more you will still only pay £40

It does not quite work like that,

use this: eBay Fee Calculator - Calculate eBay Fees, Paypal Fees and Profit

you pay a certain percentage up to each price level

I stopped selling on there a while ago now as the fees have become ridiculous. First they sting you on ebay then they dive bomb you on Paypal.
