Lightbulb Sawstop Video - FAO Joiners... Amazing

I worked with a joiner a few years ago and he told me some scary stories involving table saws!

A cracking bit of technology, I wonder how it would work in different ambient conditions when the electrical conductivity changes?

The guy obviously stands by his invention (or is clinically insane)

Yeah but would he have risked placing his finger on a piece of wood and running it through in the same way he did with the sausage? I seriously doubt it.

That is an impressive video. Would be nice to see how it stands up under real conditions as you say. However, it has to be better than nothing

yep, forgot to say in my post that I am hugley impressed with it. Still, I wouldn't trust it on the video of him sneaking his finger up to it in order to trigger the reaction alone.

Good idea,i do know a few people that have these sort of accidents,mainly a joiner i know who chopped his hand off a few months back(said he never felt a thing)
