I dont frequent this site much anymore, its gone down hill since i joined 2 years ago but when i do post on here 75% of my posts have been removed over the past 2 weeks, and i want to know why?

Is it the daily mail clique complaining im not pc enough?

Is it sad mods with **** all better to do than be "jobsworths"


Is it a change in policy where by anything expressive must go in the adult room so IB can charge you for posting?

Well I must be going mad, or something. I have looked back over the last few weeks, and can't find anything of yours that has been deleted.

I welcome another mod to correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't find anything.

Lisa your right, I can't belive I've wasted my time dredging through posts dating back to August...and can't find one single post made by GC8WRX that has been deleted.

Infact I noticed some posts that maybe should have been deleted, as they were in retaliation to a troll (alias account of a previously banned user), where it appears you rose to the bait. If you look at your past posts, you'll note in that case your post still remains, but the troll you told to "**** off" has been banned.

Now this could be a silly question, but I have to point it out. By any chance, have got your thread age cut off date in your user CP options set to something silly like one week or one month??

....if so you won't be able to see any post/threads you make older than the set cut-off age, making them appear to have been deleted. Make sure its set to "show all threads" otherwise you'll be losing posts left right and centre.

Check it, and report back

I forgot, I can actually check your profile settings myself : You have your thread age cut-off age set to zero days!!!

Bacisally that means any thread that you post on that has been inactive for more than a day disappears!!! Its not been deleted, its just your browser not showing them to you.

You need to change it to "show all threads" (User CP --> edit options -->Thread Display Options --> Default Thread Age Cut Off --> set to "show all threads" then click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.


( I can't change them, you'll have to do it youself).
