Further affirming to me that he is actually a Decent Bloke(tm) and one of the very few politicians I would willingly buy a drink for, regardless of your stance on his politics and policies.

"He picked up the iron bar, called after the girls and cycled after them."

She said the mayor returned a few minutes later covered in blood and brain matter shouting "Fooking biatches think they can mooch over ma patch!?"

I guess it's a question of how you spin the story.

"Man chases girls down alley with an iron bar" reads very differently to the BBC headline

+1

He's one of the few that I follow on Twitter. Until proven otherwise the guy has my respect. For a politician, he seems genuine.

Well done Mr Johnson

Far too few people left that would do this.

Always liked Boris. I do get the feeling that he goes out into the world and gives us all the Boris Johnson buffoon show then sits at home at the end of the day and relishes in our gullibility.
