Batton down the hatches...
Mischief night tonight, do you get this the night before Halloween where you are ?
Then followed by "Trick or Treat" tomorrow, have you ever asked for the trick if so what did you get ?
The fella down the road from me go it a couple of years back, I think they went a bit too far though.
" A gang wearing Halloween masks shouted "trick or treat" before shooting a man in the doorway of his home.
Police said at least two men dressed in dark clothing called at a house on Acacia Avenue in Huyton, Merseyside.
A woman answered the front door and was joined by a man, aged 31, who was then shot several times. He is critical but stable in hospital after surgery.
Det Ch Insp Phil Scarth, of Merseyside Police, said: "We believe the Huyton address was targeted."
He added: "At this time we are keeping an open mind about the incident. However, we do not believe it is connected to any of the other shootings in the area. "
"We have carried out house-to-house inquiries near to the scene and high visibility patrols have been stepped up."
A forensic examination has been carried out in the area and Acacia Avenue remained closed on Tuesday morning. "
I will have the treat please...

Its an American festival which has caught on here of course. I don't think it should be used as an excuse to intimidate people into providing gifts under the pain of some kind of damage to your house if you dont go along with it.

I read the first post and the first line was meaningless to me and the rest of it was about Halloween.
Clearly I have missed something about the night before Halloween, other than it being October 30th.

My point is that Halloween in not an American Festival; Trick or Treating is a thing Americans do on the Festival of Halloween.
I'll get ma coat!
