Well dreaded half term has arrived, So this morning got up at what i thought was 8.15 to get a cuppa and have a cig before everyone else got up. Then realised it was actually 7.15 o decided to wake every one else up and go down to the car boot havent been in years.

And believe it or not had a good morning I got a set off brand new halfords ratchet spanners for 15 quid r lass got a brand new hand bag for a tenner (because you can never have too many!pmsl) and the kids spent about a tenner on bits n bobs,

so for about 50 quid with mcds breakfast had a good morning. Other bonus was police raiding it and watching loads off stalls throwing fake dvds and jeans in there boots lol


So get your sen up and out next sunday did spot 2 scoobs in car park a blue one with a good plate and a red one up for sale

Used to love doing car boots when I was mobile. Used to live local to a huge one at Furnace End that took most of a day to go around. Made some absolute bargain purchases that in turn made me some incredible profits. Some weeks I made more from buying at car boots that I earned at work. I picked up an old magnifying glass from one that cost me £3. It was etched around it's frame with a presentation dedication to some rail boss. I put it into a specialist railwayana auction and it made £570 under the hammer.

I bought a water colour print from a car boot sale about 5 months ago, for £4 (limited number 4/15). found one of the other limited prints that had gone through auction 6 months ago and it sold for just over £400 lol. I like car boot sales

I have a couple of very limited prints on my wall that were pennies from car boots

Funny enough me and the missus were just on about these this morning, we were thinking of taking a load of stuff down to see if it would sell.

Mainly old books, dvd`s and some clothes (no idea if the clothes will sell?)

I also have 400 x 2009 AA Road Atlas`s from an old promotion at work that i could do with shifting before its 2010
