Best place for 0800 number?

As title, can anyone recommend the best place to buy an 0800 number?

This will have to forward to a mobile quite often, so call rates will have to be as cheap as possible.

Just set one up this week. I just went to BT - online. Try 08 & 09 numbers | Phone services | Small & medium business | BT.com as a starting point.

Works out as about 25p/min to a mobile but the calculations I did meant that if it was costing me lots per month I'd be getting the business to pay for it. But rental is only about a fiver per month.

Never tried anyone else to be honest as I didn't think that I'd get much cheaper at the end of the day.

I use these guys, their rates seem to be very good

0800 numbers, 0845 numbers, 0844 numbers, 0871 numbers, 03 numbers, Free phone numbers

no one will call you from a mobile as it costs them extra money and alot of people dont have a landline why not just use call divert ?

If you set up an 0800 number on your landline you can redirect this to where-ever - BUT that means your landline also gets redirected. I've got the 0800 number and, for the reason you give here, also a mobile number. Even though they're the same ....

If someone can't call a mobile for free then they have no mobile, so they can use the 0800, or they don't have any free minutes/free minutes left. In which case they have to pay ....

PS: edited just to say that that's the situation on the *cheapest* 0800 option. Pay more and get more ....
