Garmin installed nicely on my 5800 with symbian. Are you looking both in the apps folder and the main applications screen.
My Garmin appears inside the apps folder.

lol @ not knowing what phone you have

Is the install via the PC Suite confirming installation.

Sounds like a problem with the Garmin to be honest mate. Mine installed and ran straight away. Could it be the wrong version of have anything missing. Getting any errors, or is it just a dead icon ?

Is it a n95 app? some don't work properly on the n96

incidentally my n96 died on me again yesterday, despite my phone being out of warranty orange have agreed to send me my FOURTH n96 free of charge. Officially the worst phone I have ever had, orange have given me a nokia phone number to ring and complain but I doubt it will get me far.

Club Nokia always treated me really well mate. Try signing up and contacting them. They arranged for my phone to go to a shop for repair on the spot. Turned out it just needed a software flash, but Club Nokia took care of it.

That does suck thought, 4 phones would have me going crazy. Never had a handset replaced more than once, without me breaking it anyway lol

If it was garmin sat nav it would not install on mine either. It would either fail to load or get stuck on the spinning globe.
