Default Remixes better than the originals

There can only be a few surely?

To get a discussion started I'm going to throw this into the pot.....

Sisters of Mercy - Temple of Love 1992 is in my opinion an improvement on the original.

Anyone else?

Spirit in the Sky - Dr and the Medics

Hold on, you mean the same group re-releasing the same song, right?

+1 on Temple of love, the remix with Ofrah Haza is stunning..

Another alternate is ironically,

No time to cry, originall by Sisters of mercy,

the remix by cradle of filth is far better

I thought Temple of Love as soon as I saw the title as well.

We must all be a load of sad, aging goths

From the same band, the remix of Alice is far better than the original.

Carter USM did s good cover of their own song, Stuff the Jubilee. It turned a quiet, slow song into a punk song

Nightcrawlers - Push The Feeling On, is one of my favourite dance tracks and to my joy i found out on the radio its been giving in the BlingBling ***** Treatment by being sampled for a song Hotel Room Service -Pitbull

The last time i was this enraged by a remix was the tatt remix of U2 - With or Without You a few years back.

If you can't add value to a good song, stay the **** away from it.

On the other hand, Way Out West - Mindcircus was a brilliant track in its original form and then Gabriel and Dresden remixed it and turned it into one of my favourite wipeout tunes

Sasha's mix of M Peoples "how can i love you more" still sends chills down my spine

closest i can find http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17_4oBkxdwA

also a mix of chicanes saltwater called something like hurtwater or such, haunting female vocal added.

Tiesto of Garbiel Dresdens "Motorcyle around you" is pretty good as well - better than the original - not sure

Have them on my 'pod somewhere...

I like Marilyn Manson, well some of it, not heard this version, will not go looking for it

The operation Blade mix (Blade in the house or such) of the Blade tune is OK but the Araman version is just the business
