EDL - English Defence League (BNP/Neo **** type thing) march in Manchester
Just got a Facebook petition to stop their march, now it isnt my politics or view in the slightest, Trouble is, this is a democracy, however much we do not like their politics this is a right they have the same as none ****'s, you can't stifle free speech just because their view is not popular, history has been there before, its called Facism which makes us pretty much as bad as them, let them march and the public see what a bunch of ***** they are.
Facebook petition, "3 people like this", do they actually think about it ?
Thats my view,

Trouble is, things like this wouldnt happen if ethnic groups actually tried to intergrate into our society and abide by our laws rather than wanting their own, this is what makes people go on rallies like this and this is how it all begins, its basically self inflicted racism caused by not conforming to the country that you are in and wanting to change the values that country holds, not going on demonstrations like this but it will get worse until those ethnic groups pull their fingers out.

Having noted their banners saying "Get Islamic extremists out" One has to agree that there is just cause. (Although, technically they are actually racists against non-muslims, but of course our media won't allow the racism card to work both ways )
If it was not for the extremist there not be the level hatred that there is now. The ones that support and harbour these extremists safe from prosecution also should be held to account.
Banning these marches would also mean that other marches would have to be banned; The march of the Orange order being the main one that springs to mind.

Unlike the BNP this crowd seem do at least seem to be upfront about what they stand for hence let them get on with it.
If anyone thinks they are a good idea then I pity them, but sadly there will be a good few who will identify with their rhetoric.
As for a Facebook petition - what is it with people today? If you don't like something you start a petition on a social networking site. Wow that takes so much effort, you must feel really strongly to do that. Why not go and actively protest against them or is it too much trouble to get up from behind the comfort of your laptop!?
It's like the serial Labour bashers on here, the best they can do is write over and over again how bad the government are. If they really felt strongly they would lobby their MP, join an opposition party and campaign etc. etc. , but no it's far easier to write a post on Scoobynet

Unfortunately we end up with a never ending cycle of hatred and distrust becasue Islamic extremists and the hardcore loons like the racists in question actually need each other to further their vile agendas.
Neither group are actually interested in a fair solution they need the hate to survive
