The Chinese takeaway is the treat, but I guess I use to have a lot of it when my dad had a restaurant, but as he's retired, I struggle to find one good enough!!!

For work it always seems to an Indian resturant for entertaining clients or team building!

That reminds me of a job I got called to. A fella was in on of the town centre-after-club eateries. He was kicking off and refusing to pay for the food he'd ordered.

We got there after the owners called us. We asked the owners what was wrong - the guy won't pay for the food he'd ordered.

We asked the guy why he wouldn't pay - he said "I'm not paying for that. He's burned it and I'm not eating food no-one else wants. See - he's dropped that pizza and folded it in half!"

I tried not to laugh. Honest.

Used to get that from a Kebab shop on Yorkshire st in Oldham..

It was the only place open when we had finished on the door..

Think it was called Aktars...??? Think it was either next door,or but one to the Mess house.

Never had the squits either...Bonus!!

OT a bit,but whats Oldham like for a night out now..Havent been there for 15 yrs or so !!

I also used to work in Oldham as a technician..

Ah.....Dont think i will be going back to visit my youth if its really that bad..
