Default Are these boots safe?

My daughters birthday is coming up and she wants some Heelys roller boots. I dont know anything about them except seeing kids go whizzing by in the supermarket on the heels of their boots. She is going to be 9

They seem a bit dangerous to me but i dont know. Has anyone here got these for their kids?

Have you seen kids with these on or have you come home from the pub wearing them?

They seem to have dissapeared a bit, they get on my crack, bit of a hangover shuffling road Sainsbury's like Cheshires onwn Big Lebowski and a "tween" slides past on those, like something out of a horror film gliding like a bleeding ghost.

Lots of injuries from falling backwards, no helmet, not a brilliant idea really but look like good fun.

as windy says no adult sizes. but i suppose if you have small feet you might be able to get some somewhere. one of the other advantages of smaller feet Sara is you can stand that bit closer to the sink. "Get back in the kitchen bitch, whadda ya think i married ya for."

you see a lot of kids in supermarkets with them on- perfect floors.

some kid kept buzzing past us last night whilst doing a big shop.

I got fed up with it- he nearly took the misses out a few times.

so I waited my moment and casually span my trolley full tilt into him.

Seen plenty of kids falling over backwards and whacking their heads (not too hard), I usually stop laughing after 5 minutes or so

Does my head in when I see kids zooming about shops wearing them, they might as well be on rollerblades ffs and those are generally banned from shops I believe.
Thing is, shop floors are the only really good place to use them, it appears.

Lots of young people around here with them, they get very skilful on them too.

I don't think they will make them in my size though!
