After an accidental viewing of this activity I am very confused.
How and why has this activity managed to get itself such a massive exposure on Sky Sports. Bravo, Dave or Five I can understand, but Sky Sports?
I am completely stumped - I thought that Sky Sports was a sports channel so why is it showing this Red Neck pantomime.
And people complain that Synchronised Swimming isn't a sport!

I never watch it, but I was glued to the screen when names like BigDaddy, Mick Macmanus, Giant Haystacks, the ninja fella, cant remember his name..
Anyway, yes its an updated panto, but it gets huge viewing stats, so they air it.
Easy to get rid of it though, drug test the actors, or press backup on the remote.
I can still see myself as a 6 year old jumping up and down, shouting at the black and white TV.... " SPLASH him ! "
The tag team events were so frustrating for me....the futile, fingertip crawling, one more centimeter, leaning off the ropes, just cant make it... tags used to give me nightmares..
" JUST JUMP THE ROPES AND HELP HIM WILL YOU "...sorry lost myself there.

Marty Jones owns a pub up near me and is still a bit of a nutter. went to see wrestling as a kid at Stockport Town hall and some lad gobbed it off to him in the crowd. anyway he said he'd give him 50 quid to step in the ring - after much pursuasion he did and Marty simply tore this guy apart, he definetely wasn't mucking about. As a 12 tear old it was a scary thing to see.
On that Day Big Daddy fought as did a guy called Rasputin - he was a big bloke and Dave 'Fit' Finlay.
Great to see as a kid and these 'heroes' in the flesh.

Pontificating
It's bizarre to say the least even more so when you realise how many septics pay to watch it live

I'm not so sure i think this lad had been boozing, if it had been planned i dont think he would have been shouting 'your f**king s**t Marty' and 'your w**k!' when there were kids in the audience Marty went absolutely nuts and battered him.

There is a story that he used to do UNPAID doorwork at the Cats Whiskers/Dreamers nightclubs in Oldham just because he enjoyed fighting!
Where you from, Chief?
